Possible Causes
Water ingress into chassis, Wet grass packed around connectors, High‑pressure cleaning used on mower, Damaged housing seals
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower, remove it from the charging station, and do not attempt to charge while wet.
- Dry thoroughly: Place the mower in a dry, warm (not hot) indoor environment for at least 24–48 hours. Do not use hairdryers or heaters directly on the unit.
- Clean debris: Remove wet grass and dirt from around the wheels, underside, and any visible connectors using a brush.
- Inspect seals: Check for cracks in the housing, missing rubber gaskets, or loose covers that may have allowed water in.
- Test after drying: Once fully dry, return the mower to the station and attempt to start. If E18 reappears, internal corrosion or damage may have occurred.
- Service: Internal inspection and possible PCB or harness replacement may be required if moisture has damaged electronics.
