Possible Causes
Charging station not level, Guide/boundary wire not centered under the station, Bent or dirty charging contacts, Mower front wheels not aligning with station ramp
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before making adjustments.
- Level the station: Use a spirit level to ensure the charging station base is flat and stable. Adjust the ground or use shims if necessary.
- Check wire routing: Confirm the boundary or guide wire runs straight into the center of the station for at least 1–2 m before the dock. Re‑peg the wire if it curves sharply.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the charging contacts on both the mower and station with a dry cloth. If there is oxidation, gently clean with fine abrasive pad and then wipe clean.
- Inspect for obstructions: Remove any grass build‑up, stones, or debris around the station ramp that could deflect the mower wheels.
- Test docking: Manually roll the mower into the station and check that the contacts meet evenly. Adjust station position if the mower tends to sit skewed.
After adjustments, power the station back on and start a manual return‑to‑base to verify that E3 no longer appears.
