Possible Causes
Boundary wire too close to obstacles, Narrow passages not configured correctly, Mowing time per day too short, Worn cutting blades leaving grass standing
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before adjusting the boundary wire or blades.
- Increase mowing time: Extend the daily mowing duration so the mower has enough time to cover the entire area.
- Adjust boundary wire: Move the wire slightly outward in areas where the mower is not reaching, staying within Flymo's recommended distances from edges and obstacles.
- Optimize narrow passages: If your model supports it, configure passage handling or adjust the guide wire so the mower regularly travels through narrow sections.
- Replace blades: If the grass appears torn rather than cleanly cut, fit new Flymo replacement blades on the cutting disc.
