How to Fix / Troubleshooting

- Clean mechanism: Turn the mower over and remove packed grass and dirt around the wheel mounts and height adjustment linkages using a brush and wooden tool.
- Lubricate lightly: Apply a small amount of dry lubricant to the height adjustment spindle or sliding parts (avoid oil that attracts dirt).
- Motorized systems: For models with electric height adjustment, listen for the motor when changing height. If it hums but does not move, the mechanism may be jammed; if silent, the motor or wiring may be faulty.
- Reset and test: After cleaning, set the height to a mid position and test mowing.
If the mechanism remains blocked or the motor does not operate, the height adjustment assembly may need replacement.
