Possible Causes
Grass too tall or dense, Operating on slopes beyond specification, Worn wheel tread causing slip and repeated corrections, Partially seized wheel bearings or gearbox
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Press STOP and switch OFF before inspecting wheels.
- Reduce load: Raise the cutting height to the maximum and mow the lawn in stages, gradually lowering the height.
- Avoid extreme slopes: Relocate the boundary wire to exclude areas steeper than the mower’s rated slope.
- Clean and inspect wheels: Remove built-up grass and mud from the wheels and wheel housings. Check that the wheels rotate smoothly.
- Check wheel condition: Replace wheels with severely worn tread to improve traction and reduce motor strain.
- Cooling period: Allow the mower to rest on the charging station for 30 minutes before resuming.
Repeated overloads on normal terrain may indicate failing wheel motors that should be replaced.
