Possible Causes
Damaged guide wire, Loose guide wire connection at station, Faulty communication circuit in charging station, Defective communication receiver on mower main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the mower and unplug the charging station power before handling wires.
- Inspect guide wire: Walk along the guide wire path from the station into the lawn. Look for cuts, splices, or damage.
- Check station terminals: Ensure the guide wire is correctly connected to the designated terminal on the Gardena charging station and clamped firmly.
- Test continuity: Use a multimeter to verify continuity of the guide wire loop from the station to the far end and back (if looped).
- Re-seat mower: Place the mower on the station and ensure it sits fully against the charging contacts. Restart and see if communication is restored.
If the wiring is intact and the error remains, the station or mower communication electronics may need replacement.
