Possible Causes

Loose boundary wire connector that opens under movement, Partial break in boundary wire, Corroded terminal at charging station, Interference from nearby buried cables or fences

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch OFF the mower and unplug the station before handling wires.

  • Wiggle test: With the station powered and LED green, gently move the boundary wire near connectors. If the LED flickers or error appears, the connector is suspect.
  • Replace connectors: Cut off old or corroded connectors and install new original Gardena gel-filled connectors.
  • Check for shallow burial: If the wire is shallow or exposed, ensure it is not being flexed or cut by garden tools or animals.
  • Re-route near interference: If the wire runs close to metal fences or power cables, move it further away to reduce interference.

Persistent intermittent loop errors may require a full loop replacement.
