Possible Causes
Guide wire not centered under charging station, Station installed on uneven or sloping ground, Worn or damaged front caster/guide wheel, Loose charging station base plate
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch OFF the mower before adjusting the station.
- Check guide wire alignment: The guide wire must run straight under the center of the charging station for at least 1–2 m before the base. Re-lay the wire if it curves or deviates.
- Level the base: Use a spirit level to ensure the station is flat. Add soil or a firm base plate under the station if necessary.
- Inspect front wheel: Check the front caster or nose wheel on the mower for free rotation and damage. Replace if seized or broken.
- Secure station: Tighten the ground screws or stakes holding the station so it cannot move when the mower docks.
- Test docking: Start a “Return to station” command and observe the final approach. Fine-tune the station angle so the mower enters straight.
Continued docking errors may indicate a bent chassis or misaligned charging contacts that require professional adjustment.
