Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately press STOP, switch OFF the mower, and remove the key. Allow the mower to cool completely before inspection.
- Inspect for damage: Look for melted plastic, discolored connectors, or scorch marks near motors and PCB.
- Clean vents and deck: Remove grass and dust from cooling vents, around motors, and under the deck.
- Replace blades: Fit new Gardena blades to reduce cutting load.
- Shorten sessions: Reduce continuous mowing time during very hot weather and increase rest periods on the station.
If the burning smell returns or visible damage is present, stop using the mower and have the affected motor or PCB replaced.
