Possible Causes
Boundary wire too close to drop-offs or obstacles, Uneven lawn surface with holes or roots, Worn wheel tread reducing traction, Front skid plate or nose wheel damaged
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Press STOP and switch OFF the mower before moving it.
- Adjust boundary wire: Move the boundary wire further away from steep edges, flowerbeds, and obstacles so the mower does not climb onto them.
- Level the lawn: Fill holes and smooth out high spots where the mower frequently gets stuck.
- Replace worn wheels: If the wheel tread is smooth, install new Gardena wheels to improve grip.
- Inspect front skid/nose: Check the front skid plate or nose wheel for damage that could catch on the ground and replace if needed.
After adjustments, monitor the mower for a few cycles and fine-tune the boundary wire where it still struggles.
