Mower is very noisy during operation, with grinding or rattling sounds from underneath.

Safety first: Press STOP, switch OFF, remove the key, and wait for all movement to stop before turning the mower over.

• Inspect blades and disc: Check that all blades are present, tight, and not bent. Replace any damaged blades and screws.
• Remove debris: Clear stones, sticks, and packed grass from around the cutting disc and under the chassis.
• Check wheel play: Wiggle each wheel side-to-side. Excessive play or grinding indicates worn bearings or gearbox that may need replacement.
• Tighten fasteners: Inspect accessible screws around the motor mounts and chassis and tighten gently if loose.

If loud grinding persists, stop using the mower and have the drive or cutting motor assemblies inspected and replaced if necessary.
