Possible Causes
Charging station control board failure, Damaged charging contacts on mower, Faulty low-voltage power supply, Loose docking station connector harness
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the mower OFF using the main switch before handling the charging contacts.
- Check power supply: Confirm the Greenworks-branded power adapter is firmly plugged into the wall and the charging station. Verify the LED on the power supply (if present) is lit. Try a different outlet.
- Inspect charging station LEDs: Many Greenworks stations have status LEDs. A flashing or off LED can indicate a fault. Refer to your user manual for LED meanings.
- Clean charging contacts: On the front of the mower and on the station rails, wipe the metal contacts with a dry cloth. If there is oxidation, use a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive tools.
- Check station mounting and alignment: Ensure the station is level and the mower can drive straight into the contacts. Misalignment can prevent proper contact and communication.
- Inspect station wiring: If accessible, check the internal connector from the power jack to the station control board for looseness. Do not open sealed components; this may void warranty.
If E002 remains, the charging station control board or power supply may need replacement.
