Possible Causes

Mower not level on ground, Tilt sensor stuck or damaged, Loose tilt sensor connector on main PCB, Excessive vibration causing false trigger

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure the mower is on flat ground with blades stopped. Turn OFF the main power switch before moving it.

  • Place mower correctly: Set the mower on a level, firm surface. Avoid slopes greater than the model's rated incline.
  • Check for obstructions: Make sure no object is wedged under the chassis causing it to sit at an angle.
  • Power cycle: Turn the main switch OFF for 30 seconds, then ON. Allow the mower to boot and clear the error.
  • Inspect for impact damage: Look for cracks or deformation in the chassis that might affect the internal tilt sensor.
  • Check vibration sources: If the mower vibrates excessively (e.g., due to unbalanced blades), correct that first, as it can trigger the tilt sensor.

If E005 appears even when the mower is stationary and level, the tilt sensor module or its wiring to the main control board may need replacement.
