Robot mower shows E009 and will not start; often after winter storage.

Possible Causes
Battery deeply discharged during storage, Faulty battery pack, Loose battery connector, Defective charging circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the mower is dry and at room temperature before charging. Do not attempt to charge a frozen battery.
- Dock the mower: Place the mower in the charging station and ensure it is properly seated on the contacts.
- Check power supply and LEDs: Confirm the station and mower charging indicators are lit or pulsing as described in the manual.
- Allow extended charging: Leave the mower on the station for several hours. Deeply discharged batteries may take longer to wake up.
- Inspect battery connector: If accessible, turn OFF power, open the battery compartment, and check that the battery plug is firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- Try a reset: After charging, turn the main switch OFF for 30 seconds, then ON and check if E009 clears.
If the mower will not accept charge or E009 persists, the battery pack may need replacement. Use only a Greenworks-compatible robot mower battery.
