Possible Causes
Mower operating on slope steeper than specification, Uneven ground causing excessive tilt, Faulty IMU/angle sensor, Loose mounting of angle sensor module
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Move the mower to flat ground and turn OFF the main power switch.
- Check slope: Verify that the area where the error occurs is within the maximum slope rating for your Greenworks model. Avoid mowing on steeper sections.
- Level the ground: Fill holes or ruts and remove high bumps that may cause the mower to tilt excessively.
- Restart on level area: Place the mower on flat ground, power ON, and clear the error before sending it back to mow.
- Observe behavior: If E011 appears even on flat ground, the internal angle sensor (IMU) may be miscalibrated or faulty.
Persistent E011 on level surfaces usually requires service to the angle sensor or main control board.
