Possible Causes
Incorrect cutting height setting, Worn or bent blades, Debris causing blade disc wobble, Damaged cutting height adjustment mechanism
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and wear gloves before handling blades.
- Check cutting height: Adjust the height knob or lever to a higher setting and test. Avoid the lowest setting on very uneven lawns.
- Inspect blades: Replace dull, bent, or missing blades with Greenworks-compatible replacements.
- Clean underbody: Remove built-up grass from around the blade disc and height mechanism.
- Check height mechanism: Move the height adjuster through its full range. If it binds or does not change deck height, the mechanism may be damaged.
If uneven cutting persists after blade replacement and cleaning, the deck or height adjuster may need professional service.
