Possible Causes
Loose or missing blade screws, Bent blade disc, Foreign object stuck in blade area, Worn blade motor bearings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the main power switch and wear gloves. Wait for all movement to stop before flipping the mower.
- Inspect blades and screws: Ensure all blades are present and screws are tight. Replace any damaged blades and use thread-locking compound if recommended.
- Check for foreign objects: Remove stones, wire, or branches lodged near the blade disc.
- Spin disc by hand: Rotate the disc; it should spin smoothly without wobble or grinding. A noticeable wobble indicates a bent disc.
If noise continues and the motor feels rough when turned, the blade motor bearings may be worn and the motor assembly should be replaced.
