Possible Causes
Charging contacts dirty or bent, Charging station not level, Boundary wire under or around base incorrectly installed, Faulty docking sensor in mower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station from mains before adjusting it.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the charging contacts on both the mower and the station with a dry cloth. Remove corrosion with fine sandpaper if necessary.
- Check station position: Ensure the base is on a flat, level surface with enough straight boundary wire in front (as specified in the Hecht manual).
- Verify boundary routing: The boundary wire should run straight into the front of the station and not loop under or behind it. Correct any misrouting.
- Test docking: Manually guide the mower into the station and see if it sits fully against the contacts. Adjust the station if the mower rides up or misses the rails.
- If E10 continues: The Docking Sensor or charging detection circuit on the main board may be faulty. Have a technician test the sensor and replace if needed.
