Possible Causes
Left drive motor open circuit, Damaged left motor cable, Faulty motor encoder or hall sensor, Burnt motor winding
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and flip it only when the blades have fully stopped.
- Check for obstructions: Inspect the left wheel for debris or damage that could overload the motor.
- Spin test: Rotate the left wheel by hand. If it is very stiff or rough, the motor/gearbox is likely damaged.
- Compare behavior: Start a test run and observe if only the right wheel moves. If so, the left motor or its control is faulty.
- Inspect wiring (advanced): Open the housing and check the left motor connector on the Main Control Board for loose or burnt pins.
- Replace component: If wiring is intact, replace the Left Drive Motor Assembly. If a new motor does not fix E13, the motor driver on the main board may need replacement.
