Possible Causes
Firmware corruption, Low backup battery for RTC (if present), Power interruption during programming, Faulty main control board memory
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the mower is on a stable surface with blades stopped.
- Reset settings: Enter the settings menu and reset time, date, and mowing schedule according to the Hecht manual.
- Factory reset: If available, perform a factory reset from the menu. Note that this will erase custom schedules and PIN codes (check manual).
- Power cycle: Turn OFF the main power for 1–2 minutes, then ON, and re‑enter settings.
- Update firmware (if supported): Some Hecht models allow firmware updates via USB or service tool. Have a service center reflash the firmware.
- If E15 persists: The Main Control Board memory or RTC circuit is likely defective and should be replaced.
