Possible Causes

Grass or debris jammed in wheel, Worn wheel bearings, Faulty drive motor, Loose or damaged drive motor cable

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the main power and remove the mower from the lawn.

  • Inspect wheels: Check both rear drive wheels for stones, branches, or packed mud between the wheel and chassis. Remove debris with a brush or tool.
  • Spin wheels by hand: With power OFF, rotate each wheel. They should turn smoothly. If one is stiff or grinding, the wheel bearing or motor gearbox may be failing.
  • Check tire condition: Worn or damaged tires can cause slipping and overload. Replace the Drive Wheel Assembly if the tread is badly worn.
  • Test on flat ground: Place the mower on a flat, dry surface and start a manual mow or test mode. Observe which wheel fails to move.
  • If E6 recurs on the same side: The corresponding Drive Motor or its wiring harness is likely faulty. A technician should measure motor current and replace the motor if it overheats or is open‑circuit.
