Possible Causes
Battery deeply discharged, Incorrect replacement battery type, Loose battery connector, Faulty battery management circuit on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and remove it from the lawn.
- Check charging: Place the mower on the charging station and ensure the charging LED on the base and mower are lit. Allow it to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–6 hours.
- Inspect battery connector: Open the battery compartment (usually under the top cover) following the Hecht manual. Ensure the battery plug is fully seated and not corroded.
- Verify battery type: Confirm that the installed battery matches the original specification (e.g., 18V or 20V Li‑ion, correct Ah rating) and is a compatible Hecht Robot Mower Battery Pack.
- Reset the system: After charging, turn the main power OFF for 30 seconds, then ON. Try starting a manual mow cycle.
- If E7 persists: The battery cells may be damaged or the Battery Pack BMS (battery management system) may be faulty. Replace the battery pack. If a new battery does not resolve it, the Main Control Board may need replacement.
