Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery before opening the control panel.
- Inspect keypad area: Check for signs of water ingress or physical damage to the top control panel.
- Check ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and locate the flat ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the main PCB. Reseat both ends carefully.
- Dry moisture: If condensation or water is present, gently dry the area with a lint‑free cloth and allow it to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Test buttons: After reassembly, power ON the mower and test each button. If some keys still do not respond, the keypad PCB may be defective.
If E12 persists after reseating and drying, replace the keypad/user interface module. If that does not resolve it, the main control board may be at fault.
