Possible Causes
Misaligned charging station, Dirty or blocked docking infrared sensor, Faulty home position sensor, Loose station mounting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before adjusting it.
- Check station level: Ensure the charging station is on a flat, stable surface and not tilted or sunken into the ground.
- Clean sensors: On some Honda models, docking uses IR or magnetic sensors. Clean the sensor windows on both the mower and station with a soft cloth.
- Adjust approach path: Make sure the boundary and guide wires are installed according to Honda's layout so the mower approaches the dock straight on.
- Secure station: Anchor the station firmly so it cannot move when the mower docks.
- Test docking: Manually start a "Return to base" command and observe the approach. Fine‑tune station position if needed.
If E15 persists despite correct alignment and clean sensors, the docking/home sensor module may need replacement.
