Possible Causes
Aged battery pack, High cutting load from tall or wet grass, Dragging wheels or bearings, Blade motor partially seized
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before inspection.
- Check lawn conditions: Raise cutting height and mow more frequently to reduce load.
- Inspect wheels and bearings: Ensure wheels spin freely and are not dragging due to debris or damage.
- Check blade rotation: Spin the cutting disc by hand; it should move freely. If stiff, the motor may be failing.
- Evaluate battery age: If the battery is several seasons old, consider replacing it with a genuine Honda pack.
If run time remains poor with a new battery and light load, the motors or PCB may be drawing excessive current and need service.
