How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and disconnect the battery.

  • Clean surface: Wipe the keypad area with a slightly damp cloth to remove dirt and dried residue.
  • Inspect for cracks: Look for damage that may allow water into the keypad.
  • Open panel: If comfortable, remove the control panel cover and inspect the keypad membrane and PCB for contamination. Clean gently with isopropyl alcohol and a lint‑free cloth.
  • Replace keypad: If keys remain unresponsive, install a new Honda keypad/control panel assembly.
