Possible Causes

Thick grass or branches under deck, Rope or wire wrapped around blade disc, Bent cutting disc, Seized cutting motor bearing

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Press STOP, turn main switch OFF, and wear cut-resistant gloves. Never work near blades with power ON.

  • Flip carefully: Tilt the mower according to Husqvarna’s recommended side to avoid battery or board damage.
  • Remove debris: Clear all grass clumps, sticks, and foreign objects from around the cutting disc and blades.
  • Check for entanglement: Look for string, netting, or wire wrapped around the disc shaft. Cut and remove completely.
  • Inspect disc and blades: Ensure the disc is flat and not bent. Replace damaged blades and screws with genuine Husqvarna pivoting blades.
  • Manual rotation: Rotate the disc by hand. It should spin freely with slight resistance. Any grinding or stiffness suggests motor or bearing damage.
  • Test run: After reassembly, start the mower on short grass and listen for abnormal noises.
  • Replace cutting motor: If the disc remains hard to turn or the error recurs, the cutting motor assembly may need replacement.
