Possible Causes

Damaged front loop sensor, Loose sensor connector on main board, Moisture or corrosion on sensor PCB, Faulty main board loop sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Press STOP, turn main switch OFF, and remove the mower from the lawn. Work on a clean, dry surface.

  • Clean underside: Remove grass clippings and debris from the front underside of the mower, especially around the sensor area and chassis edges. Use a soft brush and damp cloth; avoid high-pressure water.
  • Check for physical damage: Inspect the front of the mower for cracks, impact damage, or bent plastic that might have disturbed the sensor position.
  • Open the mower (if allowed by manual): Remove the top cover according to Husqvarna instructions. Locate the front loop sensor harness and ensure the connector is fully seated on the main PCB.
  • Inspect for corrosion: Look for green/white corrosion on the sensor connector or board. If mild, clean carefully with contact cleaner and a soft brush, then dry thoroughly.
  • Test operation: Reassemble, turn ON, and place the mower near the boundary wire to see if the error clears.
  • Replace sensor if needed: If the error persists, the front loop sensor module may be defective and should be replaced with a Husqvarna-compatible sensor assembly.
