Possible Causes

Faulty charging station electronics, Broken boundary wire, Broken guide wire, Defective low-voltage power supply to charging station

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect the low-voltage power plug from the charging station before opening or moving it.

  • Check power supply: Verify that the power adapter is plugged into a live outlet and that its indicator LED (if present) is lit. Try another outlet to rule out house wiring issues.
  • Inspect charging station LED: A dark or red LED may indicate no loop or internal fault. Refer to your manual for LED codes. If the station has no lights at all, suspect the power supply or station PCB.
  • Verify cable connections: Ensure boundary and guide wires are firmly inserted into the correct terminals. Remove, trim 5 mm of insulation, and reinsert to ensure a clean contact.
  • Check for wire breaks: Use the mower’s built-in loop test or a wire break locator if available. Alternatively, temporarily shorten the loop by connecting both boundary wire ends together at a mid-point to see if the LED turns green, helping isolate the break area.
  • Test with a simplified loop: Disconnect existing boundary wires and connect a short test loop (5–10 m of wire) directly to the station. If the LED turns green, the station is OK and the problem is in the lawn wiring. If still no signal, the station or power supply is likely faulty.
  • Replace faulty components: If the test loop fails and power supply is confirmed good, the charging station assembly may need replacement. This is usually a plug-and-play swap but follow Husqvarna instructions.
