Possible Causes
Battery pack voltage too low, Battery management PCB inside pack faulty, Battery connector loose or corroded, Incompatible replacement battery installed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging station from mains before handling the mower or battery. Do not short battery terminals.
- Check charging contacts: Clean the charging pins on the Hyundai mower and the contact plates on the base with a dry cloth. Remove oxidation with a fine abrasive pad if necessary.
- Verify battery connection: Open the battery compartment (usually under the top cover). Ensure the battery plug is fully inserted into the mower's harness and that there is no corrosion.
- Charge fully: Place the mower on the charging station and allow it to charge uninterrupted for several hours. Some Hyundai models will clear E6 after the battery reaches a safe voltage.
- Inspect battery pack: If the pack is swollen, leaking, or has a burnt smell, discontinue use immediately and replace with a Hyundai-compatible Li-ion battery pack of the correct voltage and capacity.
- Advanced check: If you have a multimeter and experience, you can measure pack voltage at the connector (with pack removed). If voltage is near zero or far below nominal, the pack is defective.
