Possible Causes
One drive wheel slipping more than the other, Wheel encoder on one side faulty, Unequal tire wear, Debris jammed in one wheel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the mower and place it on a flat surface.
- Inspect wheels: Check both Hyundai drive wheels for debris, damage, or significantly different tread wear. Clean and replace as needed.
- Swap wheels (test): If possible, swap left and right wheels. If the veering direction changes, the wheel itself is the issue.
- Check wheel encoders: Clean the encoder discs and sensors as described in the encoder error procedure.
- Calibrate (if available): Some models offer a drive calibration in the service menu. Run this procedure to balance wheel speeds.
