How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF main power and disconnect the charger before accessing the battery compartment.
- Check battery connection: Open the battery compartment and ensure the Kress Lithium‑Ion Battery Pack is fully seated and the connector is firmly plugged in.
- Inspect terminals: Look for corrosion or moisture on the battery contacts. Clean lightly with a dry cloth; do not use water or solvents.
- Use original battery: Verify that the installed battery is a genuine Kress pack with the correct voltage and capacity for your model. Non‑original packs can trigger E10.
- Charge fully: Place the mower on the charging station and allow it to charge until the display shows full. Then restart and check if E10 clears.
- Persistent E10: If the error remains, the battery's internal BMS or the Main Control Board battery interface may be faulty. Replace the battery pack first; if that fails, seek service for the main board.
