Possible Causes

Faulty boundary sensor coil in mower, Damaged sensor cable, Loose connector on main board, Strong electromagnetic interference near boundary

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF main power before opening the mower housing.

  • Reduce interference: Ensure no high‑voltage cables, electric fences, or buried power lines run close and parallel to the boundary wire. If they do, reroute the boundary wire further away.
  • Inspect sensor area: The boundary sensor coil is usually located at the front of the mower. Check for physical damage to the front underside and sensor bracket.
  • Check sensor wiring: Open the housing and trace the Boundary Sensor Harness from the front coil to the Main Control Board. Confirm the connector is secure and wires are not cut or pinched.
  • Test in a simple loop: Create a small test loop of boundary wire near the station and see if the mower can detect and follow it. If E13 persists, replace the Boundary Sensor Coil Assembly.
