How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF main power before opening the top cover.

  • Move to open area: Place the mower in an open part of the lawn away from tall buildings, trees, or metal structures and restart. Wait several minutes for GPS lock.
  • Inspect GPS antenna: On GPS‑equipped Kress models, the antenna is usually under the top cover. Check that the GPS Antenna Module is not cracked or water‑damaged.
  • Check connections: Ensure the GPS module cable is firmly connected to the Main Control Board and not pinched.
  • Software update: If available, update the mower firmware via the Kress app to ensure the latest GPS firmware is installed.
  • Persistent E16: Replace the GPS module/antenna assembly or consult a Kress service center for diagnostics.
