Possible Causes
Main power switch OFF, Battery pack fully discharged or defective, Blown internal fuse, Damaged main control board power stage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charging station from mains before handling power connections.
- Check main switch: Ensure the mower's main power switch is in the ON position. Some Kress models have a hidden or recessed switch under a cover.
- Verify charging: Place the mower on the charging station and look for charging indicators (LEDs or display). If none appear, test the station on another outlet.
- Inspect battery: Open the battery compartment and confirm the Kress Lithium‑Ion Battery Pack is properly connected. If you have a compatible spare, try swapping packs.
- Check internal fuse (if accessible): Some models include a replaceable fuse near the battery or main board. With power OFF, inspect and replace with the same rating if blown.
- If still dead: The Main Control Board or internal wiring may be damaged. Do not attempt board‑level repair unless qualified; contact a Kress service center.
