Possible Causes
Worn blade motor bearings, Loose blade disc, Damaged drive motor gearbox, Foreign object under deck
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF main power and wear gloves before turning the mower over.
- Inspect cutting disc: Check that the blade disc is firmly attached to the motor shaft. Tighten the central fixing bolt to the specified torque if loose.
- Check for debris: Remove stones, branches, or hard objects lodged under the deck or around the blade disc.
- Spin components by hand: Rotate the blade disc and each drive wheel. Listen for grinding or roughness, which indicates worn bearings or gearbox damage.
- Replace worn parts: If noise clearly comes from the blade area, replace the Blade Motor Assembly. If from a wheel, replace the corresponding Drive Motor Assembly.
