Possible Causes
Cutting height set too low, Uneven lawn surface, Worn or collapsed front caster, Bent chassis frame
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF main power before adjusting height or inspecting under the mower.
- Raise cutting height: Increase the cutting height setting by one or two steps and observe the effect over several days.
- Level the lawn: Fill in deep ruts or holes and smooth high spots where scalping occurs.
- Inspect front caster: Check that the Front Caster Wheel rotates freely and is not seized or worn flat. Replace if necessary.
- Check chassis: Look for signs of bending or warping in the mower frame, especially after impacts. A bent chassis may require professional replacement.
