Possible Causes

Damaged top cover seal, Cracked housing, Missing screw grommets, High‑pressure washing of mower

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF main power immediately and remove the mower from the charging station. Do not operate while wet inside.

  • Dry the mower: Remove the top cover and allow the mower to dry in a warm, dry place for at least 24–48 hours. Do not use direct heat guns on electronics.
  • Inspect seals: Check the rubber gasket around the top cover, display, and any service hatches. Replace damaged Housing Seal Kit.
  • Look for cracks: Examine the upper and lower housings for cracks or impact damage that could allow water entry. Replace cracked Upper Housing or Lower Chassis.
  • Avoid pressure washers: Clean the mower only with a damp cloth and low‑pressure water as recommended by Kress.
  • Check electronics: If corrosion is visible on the main board or connectors, the affected components should be replaced.
