Robot mower shows E6 and stops near the boundary wire or refuses to leave the charging station.

Safety first: Disconnect the charging station power supply before working on the boundary wire terminals.

• Check base LED: Most LandXcape bases have an LED indicating boundary signal status. Refer to the manual for LED meanings. If the LED is off or flashing error, suspect a wire break or base fault.
• Inspect boundary connections: Open the terminal cover on the charging station. Ensure both boundary wire ends are firmly clamped and not corroded. Trim and re‑strip the wire ends if necessary, then reconnect.
• Look for visible damage: Walk the perimeter and inspect the boundary wire for cuts, exposed copper, or damage from gardening tools. Pay special attention to flower beds, paths, and edges.
• Wire break test: If you suspect a break but cannot see it, temporarily shorten the loop by connecting only a small section of wire to the base. If E6 clears, the break is in the disconnected section. Use LandXcape waterproof wire connectors to repair.
• Check for interference: Keep the boundary wire at least the recommended distance from metal fences, buried power cables, and other robotic mower wires to avoid signal loss.
• Base transmitter: If the boundary wire is continuous and correctly connected but there is still no signal, the charging station's boundary transmitter PCB may be defective and require replacement.
