Robot mower does not detect rain and continues mowing in heavy rain, despite having a rain sensor.

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower before working on the rain sensor.

• Settings check: In the mower menu or app, verify that the rain sensor function is enabled.
• Clean sensor: Gently clean the rain sensor surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt, algae, or waxy residues.
• Inspect wiring: Open the housing and ensure the rain sensor cable is connected firmly to the main board.
• Simulate rain: Lightly moisten the sensor surface with a damp cloth (do not soak the mower) and see if the mower responds by returning to base.
• Replace sensor: If there is no response, replace the LandXcape rain sensor module.
