Possible Causes
Poor contact between charging pins and base, Faulty charging station power supply, Corroded charging contacts, Internal charger circuit failure on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the charging station from mains before cleaning contacts.
- Clean contacts: Thoroughly clean the charging pins on the mower and the contact plates on the base with a dry cloth. Remove corrosion with a fine abrasive pad if needed.
- Check alignment: Ensure the mower docks fully and the pins press firmly against the base contacts. Adjust the base position if necessary.
- Verify adapter output: Plug in the adapter and measure its output voltage with a multimeter. Replace the LandXcape power adapter if there is no or low output.
- Monitor charging: After cleaning and alignment, dock the mower and check for charging indicators. If the mower still does not charge, the internal charging circuit on the main board may be faulty and require replacement.
