Robot mower emits a burning smell or visible smoke from the underside or vents.

Safety first: Immediately switch OFF the mower, remove it from the lawn, and disconnect the battery. Do not continue to operate the mower until the cause is identified.

• Visual inspection: After the mower has cooled, open the housing and inspect the main board, motors, and wiring for burnt components, melted insulation, or discoloration.
• Check blade area: Turn the mower over and ensure the cutting disc is not jammed by a foreign object. Remove any obstruction.
• Smell test: Identify whether the burning smell comes from the blade motor, drive motors, or main board.
• Replace damaged parts: Any component showing signs of burning or melting must be replaced with genuine LandXcape parts. Do not attempt to repair burnt PCBs or motors.
• Professional service: Due to fire risk, if you are unsure of the source or multiple components are affected, have the mower inspected by an authorized LandXcape service center.
