Robot mower does not detect the boundary wire; display shows E02 and mower refuses to start or stops near the perimeter.

Safety first: Switch OFF the mower and unplug the charging station from mains before working on the boundary system.

• Check charging base LEDs: Most LawnMaster bases have a boundary status LED. Refer to your manual; a flashing or off LED usually indicates a loop fault.
• Inspect boundary wire connections: At the charging station, open the terminal cover and ensure both boundary wire ends are firmly clamped and not corroded. Re-strip 5–10 mm of wire and reinsert if needed.
• Walk the perimeter: Follow the boundary wire around the lawn. Look for cuts from edging tools, pet damage, or exposed/corroded connectors. Repair breaks using waterproof LawnMaster-compatible boundary wire connectors.
• Test loop continuity: Disconnect both ends of the boundary wire from the base and measure resistance with a multimeter. A very high or infinite reading indicates a break in the loop.
• Check transmitter output: If the wire is intact, plug in the base and use a simple AM radio or loop tester near the wire to detect the signal. If no signal is present, the boundary loop transmitter module in the charging station may be defective.

After repairs, reconnect everything, power the base, and then power the mower. Clear the error and test a perimeter run.
