Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the mower and remove the battery compartment cover according to the Makita manual.
- Verify battery type: Ensure the installed battery pack is the correct Makita model specified for your robot mower.
- Check connectors: Inspect the battery plug and socket for bent pins, corrosion, or loose fit. Reseat the connector firmly.
- Clean terminals: If there is light corrosion, clean contacts gently with a dry cloth. Do not use water.
- Reinstall battery: Secure the battery in place so it cannot move during operation.
- Reset: Refit the cover, power ON, clear E10, and attempt to start.
If E10 persists with a correct, genuine battery, the internal battery management circuitry or main PCB may be faulty and require professional service.
