Possible Causes
Worn keypad membrane, Moisture under keypad, Loose ribbon cable to display PCB, Cracked control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the mower before opening any covers.
- Dry keypad: If the mower was recently wet, allow it to dry indoors for 24 hours and test again.
- Clean surface: Wipe the keypad area with a dry cloth to remove dirt and grass sap.
- Internal check: If you can access the control panel, ensure the ribbon cable between keypad and main PCB is firmly seated.
- Test individual keys: Try each button to identify if only certain keys are faulty.
Non-responsive or intermittent keys usually require replacement of the keypad/display module as a unit.
