Possible Causes

Blocked ventilation, Overloaded cutting motor from tall grass, Failing drive motor drawing excess current, Dust buildup on electronics

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Immediately turn OFF the mower and disconnect from the charging station. Do not continue to operate until inspected.

  • Check vents: Clean all ventilation openings of grass and dust.
  • Inspect cutting system: Ensure blades and disc rotate freely and are not jammed by debris.
  • Smell test: Carefully smell near the cutting motor and drive motors (without touching hot parts) to localize the source.
  • Reduce load: Raise cutting height and pre-mow very tall grass with a conventional mower.

If the burning smell persists or visible discoloration appears on plastic near motors or PCB, stop using the mower and have it professionally serviced to prevent fire risk.
