Possible Causes

Degraded Mammotion lithium battery pack, Loose battery connector, Faulty battery BMS (Battery Management System), Defective charging station output

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Power off the mower before handling the battery. Avoid shorting battery terminals.

  • Check charge level: Place the mower on the Mammotion charging station and confirm the charging indicator on both the mower and station is lit. Allow it to charge for at least 2–3 hours.
  • Inspect charging contacts: Clean the charging contacts on the mower and the station with a dry cloth. Remove grass, dirt, or corrosion. Do not use water or solvents.
  • Battery connector: Open the battery compartment and verify the battery plug is fully seated in the mower harness. Look for discoloration or melted plastic indicating overheating.
  • Test with multimeter (advanced): If you are comfortable and the manual allows, measure battery pack voltage at the connector. If it is significantly below the rated voltage, the pack may be failing.
  • Try another outlet: Plug the charging station into a known-good outlet. Confirm the station’s power LED is stable, not blinking.
  • If E002 returns after a full charge, the battery pack or its BMS is likely defective and should be replaced with a compatible Mammotion battery module.
