Possible Causes
Stuck key on keypad, Moisture ingress into control panel, Damaged keypad ribbon cable, Faulty display PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the main switch and remove the mower from the charging station.
- Inspect keypad surface: Check for dirt, sap, or sticky residue around the buttons. Clean gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Check for moisture: If the mower has been exposed to heavy rain or washing, allow it to dry indoors for 24 hours in a warm, ventilated area (do not use direct heat).
- Test button function: With power ON, press each button individually and observe if any are unresponsive or trigger multiple actions.
- Inspect ribbon cable: If comfortable opening the top cover, check that the keypad ribbon cable is firmly seated on the main PCB and not cracked or pinched.
- If E12 persists: The keypad or display PCB may need replacement as an assembly. This is typically a moderate repair best done by a service center to maintain sealing.
