Possible Causes
Faulty lift or tilt sensor, Sticking blade motor relay on PCB, Software malfunction, Debris preventing quick stop
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Critical safety warning: If blades do not stop quickly when the mower is lifted or STOP is pressed, discontinue use immediately. Turn OFF the main switch and remove the battery if possible.
- Test safety functions: In a controlled environment, with protective gloves, briefly start the mower and lift it to confirm blade stop time. It should stop within a few seconds.
- Inspect sensors: Check lift and tilt sensors for proper mounting and free movement.
- Check for relay sticking: Listen for a click from the PCB when blades are commanded off. If the motor continues to run, the relay or driver may be welded closed.
- Do not operate until repaired: Replace faulty sensors or main PCB. This is a critical safety repair best handled by an authorized technician.
