Possible Causes
Aged battery with low capacity, Worn drive motors, Increased mechanical resistance in wheel bearings, Partially seized gearbox
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the main switch before manual testing.
- Check battery health: Note runtime and charging frequency. If runtime is significantly reduced, replace the battery pack.
- Inspect wheels and bearings: Spin wheels by hand; they should rotate freely. Replace wheel assemblies if stiff.
- Listen to motors: During operation, listen for straining or whining from drive motors. Replace motors that sound abnormal or overheat.
- Reduce slope load: Re-route boundary wire to avoid the steepest areas if the mower is near its maximum slope rating.
